- Conducting in-depth investigations and identifying suspicious activities.
- Drafting and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborating with an international team to serve large corporate and institutional clients with diverse banking needs.
- Acting as the point of contact for inquiries and requests from authorities.
- Providing compliance opinions and assessments on individual risk exposures.
- Presenting cases to decision committees or escalating t designated teams.
- Conducting self-controls and controls on LoD1 to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Executing Transaction Monitoring to identify and address potential financial crime risks.
- Ensuring the bank’s normative framework is locally compliant and transparently reflected in internal procedures.
- Contributing to the launch of new markets, products, or technologies, advising on compliance aspects.
- Ensure SAR filings and investigations continue seamlessly in the AMLO’s absence.
- Support the AMLO in overseeing the bank’s financial crime prevention framework.
- Contribute your expertise to strengthen operational processes and foster a proactive compliance culture.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial crime prevention, compliance, or related fields.
- Apprenticeship or university degree in banking, law, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in German and English to navigate international collaborations and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical skills and capacity to summarize, strong decision-making capabilities, and the ability to act with confidence and precision.
