RAKBANK announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Public Relations Officer) according to the following:

  • RAKBANK was founded in 1976 and is one of the oldest banks in the country. 
  • The Bank operates within retail and corporate banking, offering a range of services including personal and business banking, credit cards, loans, investment services, and wealth management.
  • As a Public Relations Officer, you will play a key role in managing the Visa & Immigration Services, License & Permits renewable, government relations, and external communications, with extensive knowledge of local regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure that the Bank is fully compliant with the Immigration laws. 
  • Process employee work and residence permit; act as Bank’s liaison officer for all Government related activities.
  • Process staff visa documents sponsored in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah.
  • Ensure completion of new and renewal of residence visa for employees in a reasonable time frame.
  • Follow up for visa renewals; track expiry dates and ensure renewed documents are sent to the Head Office to be filed in personal files.
  • Liaison with Immigration / Health Department.
  • Process visa cancellation & deportation process.
  • Liaison with Dubai Economic department & Dubai municipality for license renewal and end-to-end coordination with the Administration office.
  • Proactive interaction with staff on issues relating to visa, concerns relating to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) and Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE), etc.
  • Ensure that all immigration approvals and paperwork is maintained in files and is Audit compliant.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Fluency in Arabic.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Relations, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in PRO Management or HR Operations.
