- Overseeing the agile practices and maturity plan of 3-5 Agile Squads.
- Shaping and defining agile maturity assessment criteria and assessing squads, providing them with a rating and an improvement plan.
- Coaching Agile mindset and practices to tighten up elements such as ceremonies, reporting, estimation, and user stories.
- Improving agile adoption within the squads, as well as embedding and enforcing agile adoption.
- Acting as an impediment buster at the squad level to ensure squads can deliver with minimum blockers.
- Coaching squad members on areas of improvement against a specified assessment criteria.
- Helping Scrum Masters (SMs) facilitate and plan all Scrum events, including Sprint planning, Retrospective, Sprint review, Daily stand-up, and Backlog refinement.
- Shaping the enterprise agile agenda and overall plan, including leadership engagement and education.
- Driving the education and adoption of the SAFe framework, including running PI planning and supporting Product Owners (POs) with product roadmaps and backlog development in preparation for PI planning.
- Running scrum of scrums to support SMs in a Release Train Engineer (RTE) capacity.
- Defining, assembling, and communicating portfolio-level reporting for Squads and the Agile Release Train (ART).
- Mentoring Scrum Masters on Agile best practices and producing a development plan and learning curriculum.
- Experience in overseeing agile practices and maturity plans for multiple Agile Squads.
- Ability to shape and define agile maturity assessment criteria and provide improvement plans.
- Strong coaching skills in Agile mindset and practices, including ceremonies, reporting, estimation, and user stories.
- Proven track record of improving agile adoption within squads.
- Experience in acting as an impediment buster to minimize blockers.
- Ability to coach squad members on areas of improvement.
- Experience in facilitating and planning Scrum events.
- Ability to shape enterprise agile agendas and overall plans.
- Experience in driving the education and adoption of the SAFe framework.
