United Arab Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Head of Project Management Office - Operations) according to the following:
- Define, maintain and implement project and program management methodology, including process, policies, tools, engagement cadence and metrics; with an objective to optimize execution and realization of expected outcomes.
- Responsible for development of portfolio roadmap covering all strategic technology and non-technology projects and programs in the Bank, to facilitate tracking of key milestones and health status of all initiatives.
- Ensure collaboration between the project team members and other stakeholders to garner adequate support for successful and timely completion of all initiatives.
- Responsible for identify inter-dependencies between systems, projects and resources; and facilitating actions to overcome interdependency challenges which may create roadblocks by ensuring seamless integration of projects.
- Responsible for inculcating a risk based project execution approach in the organization, with a view to ensure all the project risks are identified, monitored and mitigated, as applicable.
- Define governance model including cadence for decision making based upon Delegation of Authority and establish a clear escalation matrix for all initiatives.
- Facilitate proper planning to ensure pragmatic plan for timely delivery of initiatives with highest quality of deliverables/outcomes.
- Be responsible for identifying deviations from the baselined scope, schedule and cost, and recommend corrective actions to avoid such deviations.
- Be responsible for integrated change management and ensure timely escalation and approvals from the governance body based upon the approved governance model.
- Establish working committees and steering committees and ensure they are run as per schedule.
- Formulate a prioritization model for the governance body based upon factors such as value to the customer, value to the organization, complexity, ROI and timelines.
- Responsible for resource allocation to the various projects and programs, based upon prioritization approved by the governance body.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any engineering, IT or Business Domains .
- Certified: PMP, PgMP & PfMP.
- 10+ years’ experience in Project Management Enterprise Domain in Financial Institution.
- Effective communication skills in English and Arabic ( Optional).
