- Teller is responsible for managing daily teller operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and secure processing of all transactions.
- The role exists to provide high-quality customer service, handle large volumes of cash, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies.
- The Teller plays a key role in mitigating operational risks and ensuring the overall success of branch banking services.
- Oversee and perform all teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, ensure compliance with internal banking policies and regulatory requirements during transaction processing.
- Monitor cash levels in teller drawers, ensuring that cash balances are maintained according to branch limits. Conduct end-of-day cash balancing and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting bank products and services.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Ensure all transactions comply with AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and other regulatory requirements.
- Report suspicious transactions and activities, ensuring timely action and adherence to compliance protocols.
- Assist the Operations Supervisor in managing teller schedules, workloads, and operational tasks. Support the branch in audits and inspections, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Higher Secondary education. Bachelor's degree will be preferable
- 3- 5 years’ experience in Teller position.
- Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
