- 8+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in building large-scale transactional applications using languages such as Java, Typescript
- Deep understanding of cloud based distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture and experience building scalable, fault-tolerant systems for high-volume transactional environments
- Expertise in modern software engineering best practices, a technical history and engineering background
- Leadership Credibility - Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with product and design teams to ensure delivery of high-quality products
- Collaboration and brokership skills to achieve consensus amongst stakeholders
- Effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams
- A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- A history of regulated or financial application engineering
- You are a skilled, creative and inquisitive technical leader with a passion for quality and delivery
