Standard Chartered announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Cluster Manager, Affluent Segment & Deposits) according to the following:
- assisting with the design, formulation and execution of the Affluent banking strategy in AMEE. The strategy should include the efficient use of resources – products, digital channels and people – tagged to Affluent Segment and should be aligned with Group’s Strategic Priorities.
- tracking financial and non-financial affluent KPIs to achieve the execution of the Affluent banking strategy in AMEE in line with Group priorities
- developing and managing the Regional Client Value Proposition (CVP), branding and communication for the Affluent banking segment regionally
- developing and executing the strategy for the Deposits business along with Country Deposits Heads
- developing and managing the International Banking CVP and Strategy with Group, Regional, and Country Teams.
- defining and managing client retention strategies including reactive retention and proactive retention programs.
- deposit product oversight across the AMEE region from a balance and margin perspective
- overseeing deposit initiatives such as new product development, feature enhancements, client experience improvement, pricing management, etc.
- running campaigns with Group and Country teams, improve analytics, and develop tools that support our Sales and Relationship Management activities
- collaborating with risk teams to ensure risk management procedures and processes are effectively implemented to operate within operational and credit risk appetite.
- displaying exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
- This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications – relevant degree
- Experience in financial services experience, and direct exposure to Affluent Client business.
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong understanding of analytics and solid numerical skills.
- Good interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Positive attitude, high energy, ability to work under pressure and to tough deadlines
- 5+ years of successful experience in management of segments or products in the banking industry, with the relevant depth of experience in financial services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with multicultural awareness and sensitivity and ability to deal with people of all levels.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
