RAKBANK announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Associate Vice President -ESG Project Manager) according to the following:

• Provide expert knowledge and executes activities to ensure RAKBANK manage ESG appropriately, complying with the regulatory requirements and by acting responsibly towards customers, employees, shareholders and other key stakeholders. 
• Develop and implement ESG frameworks, policies and processes to embed ESG consideration and practices into the organization’s strategic decision-making process. 
• Assists, advises, and executes on processes and activities to ensure a consistent approach across the bank to manage ESG effectively, protective reputation, improving efficiency and driving growth. 
• Facilitate effective planning & development of ESG, amongst other on control frameworks and emerging ESG risks and opportunities.
• Support with the development and implementation of documentation and governance for managing ESG.
• Support on the alignment of ESG frameworks with clear performance metrics that are both internally and externally driven. 
• Ensure that material ESG risks are identified, assessed, managed, and reported to the appropriate internal stakeholder groups. 
• Assist on materiality assessment. 
• Establish and develop ESG risk assessments across all segments. 
• Assist in the implementation of ESG risk assessments. 
• Reviews the output on ESG risk assessments. 
• Develop internal reporting mechanism on ESG risk. 
• Keep up to date on key research and market trends.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Finance or Business Administration. 
• CFA, SCR or other ESG risk/climate risk certifications are advantageous
• 3-5 years’ of experience in ESG, Sustainability or related fields, preferably within Banking or Financial sector.
• Background in credit/risk, ESG, sustainable or climate risk.
