Emirates Development Bank (EDB) announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Officer, HR Operations (UAEN)) according to the following:

  • Develop and review reports on employee leave balances and records of consumed employee leaves, ensuring all leaves have been approved and processed as per policies and procedures; notify the Chief Human Resources Officer and the concerned management of any issues pertaining to employee leaves.
  • Support the Chief Human Resources Officer and HR Sub-committee in handling employee grievances and disciplinary issues through obtaining information to facilitate investigations and decision-making.
  • Develop and circulate memos to notify employees of HR matters which pertain to them. Work with Manager, HR operations on drafting and reviewing such memos and obtain necessary approvals on them prior to circulation.
  • Conduct a second review on employee claims based on EDB reimbursement policies, where necessary.
  • Supervise the preparation of monthly payroll data ensuring that any salary deductions/credits are accurately reflected; submit to the Finance and Accounting for processing.
  • Ensure to assign all the UAE National employees into the pension scheme.
  • Responsible for processing payroll for the EDB employees by validating employee workhours, verifying attendance and working with finance to ensure accurate processing on time.
  • Conduct Exit interviews and ensure the proper handover of departing employee along with the final pay settlement.
  • As a super user of Oracle Fusion, ensure to handle queries from EDB Employees related to the system specifically related to personal information and records.
  • 10.Enter all employee data and information along with employee joining documents 100% in the system; updated both for Outsource and Full Time Employees.
  • Monitor employee information on oracle and ensure that employees information is updated (checklist required) from their end and provided to HR on time.
  • Checks on Probation ending period and ensure employee receive timely confirmations or extensions.
  • Maintain the procurement part for HR requisitions and PRs in the ORACLE system.
