Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Manager – Risk Portfolio Management) according to the following:

  • Data Gathering and Analysis: Collate and information from Business Performance and Analysis team and Relationship Managers in order to analyse portfolio metrics, financial returns, penetration and wallet share Organise raw data into meaningful analysis to support Line Manger in making recommendations for improvement in order to balance risk and reward taking into account changes to regulations Collate lending performance data for portfolios, reporting on areas of under and over exposure in order to minimise the investment risk and increase profit Analyse portfolio trends, gaps and the identification of action that should be taken in order to enhance the balance sheet towards meeting short-term and longterm goals and planning for portfolio growth/slip page.
  • Risk Management: Monitor the portfolio loan exposure including the review of monthly maturity reports, daily overdraft activity reports and weekly past dues reports in order to report deteriorating credit situations Gather data to support with modelling the impact on the balance sheet/income in potential major risk events in order to evaluate risk rating and make revision recommendations.
  • Reporting: Draft initial reports on investment performance, activity, market conditions and economic trends in order to identify investment opportunities.
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Self-Management: Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a Bank or lending setting and/or training with experience in investment strategies and risk management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Investment or a related field
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of data extraction Report writing skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Experience of leading.
