Emirates Development Bank (EDB) announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in uae (Learning & Development Specialist) according to the following:

  • Distribute and collect annual training needs from Chief Officers/ Directors/ Senior Managers/ Managers and support the Director Learning & Development in developing a consolidated annual training plan, which meets the identified needs.
  • Collaborate with internal/external trainers to design and develop training programs in line with the approved training plan.
  • Assist in identifying, introducing and developing self-learning methodologies for EDB such as like CBT/videos, books, magazines.
  • Assist in the Implementation and enhancement of on-the-job training (OJT) programs enhance learning on site. 
  • Organize all training courses through handling all logistics and coordinating with employees, and trainers to ensure they attend the relevant training courses.
  • Attend organized training courses to ensure that all required training equipment and training materials are readily available. 
  • Distribute and collect training evaluation forms and consolidate results to assess the effectiveness of training; make recommendations to the Director Learning & Development accordingly. 
  • Monitor the performance of external training vendors and report to the Director Learning & Development accordingly. 
  • Coordinate with employees and management to ensure that all stages of the employee performance management process are completed on a timely basis. 
  • Support the Director Learning & Development in carrying out succession planning activities as per the approved succession plan which aims to identify and develop of top talent to be successors in the future.
  • Support the Director Learning & Development in developing and implementing career ladders to facilitate the growth of employees within EDB.
  • Review nominations for promotions and transfers to ensure adherence to career progression/development policies and procedures; make recommendations to the HR Business Partner accordingly.
  • Draft individual development plans (IDP) for UAE fresh graduates within one month of their joining; monitor the implementation of IDPs and notify the HR Business Partner accordingly. 
  • Make recommendations to the Director Learning & Development to enhance policies, procedures and processes pertaining to the scope of work.
