United Arab Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in uae (Assistant Manager, Credit & ESG Risk) according to the following:

  • Preparation of all MIS reports and monthly / quarterly provisions reviews as required, especially Wholesale and Retail SAM, as per portfolio management framework/SOP.
  • Assist in preparation of Portfolio Statistical and Regulatory reporting returns on regular basis whenever required.
  • Preparation, co-ordination, compilation and review of information from various stakeholders in the Bank with regards to the Asset Quality review of Large exposures and submission of same to CBUAE.
  • Timely and accurate submission of data requested by Credit rating agencies with regards to Portfolio concentration, NPL, Large exposures, write off, restructure, etc.
  • Preparation and timely submission of Banking Return Forms to Finance as per CBUAE regulations/guidelines with accurate data, submission being on monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis.
  • Assessment of forecasted provision on weekly basis to understand the incremental provision required for the month.
  • Monitoring of Sovereign & GRE exposures to be in line with CBUAE threshold.
  • Monitoring the large exposures to avoid any breaches prior to approval by providing risk summary to CRO with details incorporated such as limits, ECL, Collateral, Large exposure limits, Group limits, Real estate regulatory limits, Raroc related information, etc.,
  • Manage any specific assignments or projects delegated by the Head of Credit Risk or the Bank’s senior management from time to time.
  • Reconciliation of monthly Recovery with Finance.
  • Assisting Head of SAM in initiation of Retail write off and responsible for write off reconciliation.
  • Preparation of Portfolio presentation for Board, Risk and Sub committees.
  • Ensure all processes are adhered to the laid down policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with stake holders (esp. Finance, IT, Credit, Business, Risk Units) for extraction and support of information for analysis purpose.
  • Ensure compliance to code of conduct laid down by the bank.
  • Mandatory attend all e-learning courses organized by the bank and successfully clear the assessment.
  • Attend EIBFS courses with regards to Job profile for better performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or any other relevant course.
  • 7-8 years’ Credit Risk or ESG risk experience in banking sector in the UAE.
  • Great communications skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
