RAKBANK announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in uae (Team Leader - Authorizations & Fraud Control) according to the following:

• Closely monitor performance of authorisation engine to ensure that performance issues are highlighted and resolved without causing adverse impact on the usage of RAKBANK cards.
• Closely liaise with Cards Support team & payment schemes to understand and resolve issues causing disruptions in cards usage.
• Keep himself and his team members abreast with the technicalities of authorisation function and continuously upgrade the skill sets by making an active effort to gain knowledge through the publications/manuals of payment schemes.
• Ensure that all the non-transaction monitoring tasks are completed on a day to day basis and the check list of daily tasks assigned is completed in every shift to give an indication of total time required for all the activities versus the number of staff available.to execute the tasks.
• To maximise profitability carry out regular spot checks on the processes being executed by AFCU, identify procedural lapses and identify control weaknesses, if any and closely work with Manager AFCU & Disputes Resolution Unit to address the lapses/ weaknesses.
• Responsible for exercising judgement in interpreting Visa/MasterCard Operating Regulations in a manner to ensure (a) full compliance (b) avoid regulatory fines (c) zero loss to the business and to overhaul the existing processes to keep abreast with the constantly changing landscape of scheme regulations.
• University degree from a well-reputed institution in Finance, Economics, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Authorizations and/or Fraud Control Operations
• Thorough knowledge of card operations including Visa / MasterCard regulations and account monitoring activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and process and control orientation
