Mashreq Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in uae (Associate Director, Real Estate Structuring & Advisory) according to the following:
- Involved in bespoke pitchbook development for each target client and all go-to market material for business development activity to be used by the Unit, and where appropriate, in collaboration with the wider Corporate Real Estate, M&A, Leveraged Finance, Debt and Equity Capital Markets as well as Private Banking desks of the Bank.
- Hold meetings with clients at their premises on a regular basis.
- Negotiate with customers and other lenders (pari passu or otherwise) to deliver the most favorable financial terms possible for the Bank but also maintain competitiveness within the market.
- Lead execution of individual deals and manage deal team members and participate in negotiations with counterparties with regards to special situations and complex transactions which require a combination of asset-based lending, leveraged finance and potentially M&A, DCM and ECM as well as subordinated capital arrangements.
- Refer any situation where the Bank’s assets are at risk for appropriate remedial action so that the Bank is safeguarded against financial loss.
- Ensure the validity and legality of all transaction and account documentation to secure and protect the Bank’s position against unacceptable levels of risk.
- Mentor, guide and actively assist the Unit’s subordinates in the execution of credit and market risk analysis, credit structuring, financial modelling, term sheet development and all internal and external presentations, credit proposals and related matters.
- Develop, maintain relationships within the region’s real estate valuation, advisory, legal, asset management and investment banking industries and attend industry events on behalf of the bank
- Assist in the development and maintenance of regional real estate market data trackers, dashboards and indicators which are to be used by the unit, the wider corporate real estate desk and periodically share market briefs/summaries with select units within the bank
