Emirates Islamic Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in uae (Relationship Manager - Employee Banking) according to the following:

  • The Employee Banking RM will work as part of the Employee Banking Team with the specific focus on bulk sourcing of individual customers by adding new and managing existing Wholesales Banking Group [WBG] and Business Banking [BUB] client payroll relationships and meeting their retail banking requirements.
  • Employee Banking RM will be conversant with the full range of Retail Banking products and services, including basic banking products and services, lending products, financial advisory on wealth and bancassurance. Also able to discuss Priority Banking offering to potential clients.
  • Meet monthly financial targets of NTB customer acquisition, new payroll relationships, asset sales etc
  • Work with the distribution network (Employee Banking Fulfillment team, branches, IB Sales teams, DSAs) for multi-product/payroll fulfillment on defined sales targets
  • Initiate, develop and retain employer relationships (Head HR CEO, CFO or any other relevant contact point etc) while contributing actively to the business development goals of the unit
  • Fully engaged in customer acquisition activities, presenting, closing deals, managing and developing client accounts with help of fulfillment team
  • Responsible for account opening, initial relationship building and managing the early customer lifecycle for New To Bank customers
  • Accountable for regular monitoring of client satisfaction and service quality levels by ensuring that client expectations are consistently met and exceeded
  • To adopt an open and effective communication style and to be a strong team player that can benefit of the overall team/unit especially working with fulfillment team
  • Cross sell (assets, bancassurance and wealth products) and refer business to other areas of the bank (e.g. Priority Banking)
  • Keep abreast of market trends, customer preferences and new products, as well as to regularly monitor activity by key competitors. 
  •  KAM template preparation for new payroll relationships
  •  Periodic updates to management
  •  Strategic planning for KPI achievement
  •  Credit policy and process change requirements
  •  Company specific sales promotions
  •  New relationship development efforts
  • Ensure high level of customer service and quick TAT for all multi-product sales
  • Fully aware of all policies relating to operational risk, sales processes etc and all policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention and KYC
  • Responsible for ensuring up-to-date compliance, KYC and client profile for each NTB customer
  • Safeguard the reputation of Emirates NBD by employing best practices and acting in a professional manner at all times
  • Document all meetings with payroll relationship contact point (HR or Finance manager) and contribute to the reporting processes established in the unit
  • Develop interpersonal skills
  • Improve sales skills especially cross-selling and wealth business
  • Graduate with preferred specialization in marketing, finance, banking or related discipline. 
  • Around 8-10 years retail banking experience with 5-7 years of Sales experience in payroll, liabilities and assets & 3-5 years of sales team management experience preferably multiproduct sales with cross sell targets.
