• Mission critical is to commercialized and execute the Open Banking Framework mandated by the CBUAE
• Responsible for being the global Fintech representative for the Gulf region
• Act as the connection between Tech and Business to execute CBD Open Banking strategy with the Fintech community. 
• Work collaboratively to customize, adapt and implement the Open Banking strategy framework. 
• This requires alignment on strategies and objectives, sharing best practices from other regions, demonstrating thought leadership, and building an aligned execution plan.
• Source, evaluate and collaborate with innovative Fintechs and Enablers active in the region. 
• This requires identifying the specific needs of these Fintech communities, as well as creating and delivering the appropriate value propositions to market for the different Fintech segments.
• Be the digital partnership leads to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration and partnership with fintech partners
• Responsible for executing on an innovative strategy to drive Business Case with other Fintech initiatives, leveraging a combination of partnerships and relationship management skills
• Develop thought leadership, identifying and deploying the appropriate value proposition and driving marketing and comms initiatives aligning global framework to regional priorities and strategy.
• Drive initiatives aimed at identifying and qualifying relevant Fintech and Enablers, assessing their strategic fit with CBD and our customers
• Translate the collaboration with Fintech and Enabler into the appropriate commercial engagement models following global engagement frameworks (partnership, contract, M&A)
• Drive and develop business and competitive intelligence reports. Identify the right metrics and KPIs and perform comparison with other Fintech stakeholders in the ecosystem. 
• Track and report business performance of the engagement with Fintech and Enablers, which also includes Engage Partners Pipeline Management.
• Must have executed successful use cases of Open Banking
• Possesses a passion for the startup and Fintech community with demonstrated experience of working with the segment
• Ability to quickly learn about new technologies, demonstrating startup subject matter expertise and industry thought leadership
• Results driven, solutions and customer focused, with strong business acumen and sense of urgency
• Demonstrated multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. innovative product development, business development, marketing, client relationship management, emerging technologies
• Proactively able to identify opportunities before others and develop strategies to take advantage of these opportunities
• Demonstrated experience quickly understanding, utilizing and evangelizing new technology
• Demonstrated ability to take accountability and drive to desired results with passion, ambition and aptitude
• Demonstrated strong self-awareness, open to different approaches and ideas and open to challenging status quo to drive new business initiatives. 
• Self-motivated, thrives in the ambiguity that comes with a lean and agile team at the forefront of an evolving space
• Expertise gained in Retail Banking is highly desirable
• MBA or other advanced degree in strategy, marketing, communications, innovation, entrepreneurship or other related field a plus.
