Emirates Development Bank (EDB) announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job Officer, Procurement (Outsourced) according to the following
- Review ad-hoc procurement requests and validate requirements prior to sourcing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform tender commercial evaluation and finalize the awarding & contractual process.
- Support the Procurement in conducting emergency purchases whenever required.
- Support the Procurement in preparing tender documents to attract more business.
- Conduct initial review of invoices and submit to the Financial Accounting Section upon approval of the Procurement.
- A minimum of 10-15 years experience in Banking or service industry.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a Supervisory position.
- Experience in Real Estate
- Experience in IT Procurement is preferred
- Leading teams in diverse project scenarios
- Program Management covering multiple projects
- Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Experience of managing a PMO office
- Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 5 to 25 people
- Experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large sized projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business, Administration or a related field.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required.
- Six Sigma or similar certification desirable.
