ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job Senior Lead - Core Banking Solutions Platforms according to the following
- Plans and provides support and closely interacts with Regtech & Business Operations Platforms to develop or participate or contribute for the strategic Plan and business plans of the Core and related applications.
- Ensures the implementation of the Business Plans using the best fit optimum technology, in conjunction with Project Managers, Technical Resources, and Business Resources and with Vendors in the agreed time frames.
- Oversee and direct, in conjunction with the respective Systems Analysts / Programmers or the analysis of business requirements, development of functional and program specifications, relational database design, programming, testing, implementation and documentation for the Core applications.
- Implement short-gap or bespoke system for the continuity in Business Operations, where the vendor is not capable to provide appropriate solutions.
- Ensure the application of SDLC Standards.
- Supporting Core Banking Solutions, and related applications, Co-ordinate Vendor Support Issues, implements Enhancements and customization.
- Manage the Incidents with the assistance of the System Analysts, Programmers to resolve them, convert them into known errors and design appropriate escalation procedures.
- Recommend applicable ITIL standards or other suitable standards for the IT Infrastructure in terms of, but not limited to, Operational Planning, Availability Planning, Change Control Planning etc.
- Work to schedule and assign Staff to ensure that applications satisfy Users’ needs and are completed within agreed upon time parameters.
- Ensures that availability and performance targets are met for all Core Systems and that optimum service levels are required.
- Assist department line manager during leaves.
- Manage initiatives for Core Banking Solutions from performance and availability prospective.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology engineering.
- Excellent domain knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of design.
- Development trends and methods.
- Technical/functional understanding of assigned portfolio.
- Experience in application technology footprint.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving ability Conflict resolution
- Excellent Communication skill in both streams.
- Vendor management.
- Troubleshooting Skills
- Teamwork and performance ethics
- 8 years’ experience in IT environment with specialized experience in core banking system support.
