RAKBANK announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job Application Support Analyst - Digital Banking according to the following
- Providing effective functional and technical support for Digital Banking (Mobile/Internet) Applications
- Ensuring issues are appropriately documented, tracked, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner as per the service level agreement
- Ensuring proper usage of Incident, Problem and Change management systems and processes
- Reviewing Incident and Problem management reports and identifying action plans to improve KPI’s, as necessary
- Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
- Working closely and communicate effectively with business users as well as software vendors on solution delivery and issue resolution
- Providing proactive maintenance of the Applications to ensure stability of the environment
- Deep understanding of Mobile / Internet Banking Solutions (Finacle E-Banking solution preferred)
- Should have experience with Java, SQL, and Unix
- Understanding of application servers like Web Sphere, JBoss, Nginx, etc.
- Understanding of typical software development lifecycles and best practices
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as App Dynamics, Dyna Trace, Site Scope, ELK etc.
- Preferred knowledge of Cloud computing and DevOps concepts
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to trouble shoot complex system issues
- Ability to manage competing priorities and operate under pressure
- Should be familiar with performing Disaster recovery of systems
- Excellent capability to learn and adapt to changes.
- Minimum 5 years of support experience in the Digital Banking Application preferably within the Banking sector
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
