- Management and execution of audits in Germany and abroad (focus on Central and Eastern Europe), including audit planning and report writing in English
- Creation of audit documentation according to group-wide and international standards
- Further development and optimization of governance, risk management and control systems by identifying risks and potential for improvement and value creation
- Addressing recommendations for action while maintaining the independence and objectivity of the internal audit function
- Communication within the group audit and with the audited units
- Support for essential auditing processes, in particular risk analysis, annual planning and reporting
- Several years of professional experience in the field of internal audit, preferably in an international group or an auditing company with a major in finance or banking
- Efficient, results-oriented way of working, strong analytical skills and interdisciplinary thinking
- Strong communication skills in English and in German or in an Eastern European language; Knowledge of French is an advantage
- Team spirit and intercultural competence with the willingness to work in an international environment
- Willingness to travel within Germany and in Central and Eastern Europe.
