Assist the team in maintaining a pipeline and developing the portfolio.
Review and negotiate LMA standard documentation in the capacity of an Agent
Coordinate with parties on document execution, CP/CS Satisfaction & successful utilization
Facilitate waiver and amendments for borrowers and direct the bank group as applicable
Monitor Information Undertakings and Financial Covenants reporting to ensure documentation compliance and escalate to concerned personnel in the event of a discrepancy or delay
Maintain Security in various facilities in various capacities, including renewals, expiries, lodgments and retrievals.
Coordinate All Party/Lender meetings / calls as appropriate and prepare minutes of meeting and present to Unit Head and circulate it post discussions
Coordinate with External Legal counsels, Internal Legal Counsel, Compliance and Stressed Asset Unit to manage all legal and enforcements issues w.r.t accounts and securities.
Maintain Escrow business as per the Agreement requirements
Liaise regularly with various internal departments (i.e. FTC, Credit OPS, Payments division, Compliance, Relationship, Risk etc.) and manage enquiries pertaining to transactions
Updating KYC in various accounts and fulfill all compliance/regulatory requirements
To act in the best interest of the all parties, i.e. lenders and borrowers, fulfilling fiduciary obligations, if any, without any conflict of interest and maintaining impartiality to all parties.
Continuously improve and recommend improvements in policies and procedures for the unit.
Graduate with around 10+ years in Corporate Banking Operations and preferably 2-3 years in Agency role and at least 3+ years in UAE market
Job holder must have documentation skills to interpret LMA standard documentation and have knowledge of Operations to have a control of the transaction flow. Knowledge of general banking operations is prerequisite.
Strong communication skills with an ability to converse well with Borrowers, Lenders and external and internal stakeholders.
Self-motivated and ambitious with problem solving ability and excellent business analytical skills.
Should be proficient with MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) and should process an eye for detail.
Ability to work in a team, independently when required, when under pressure and to adhere to tough deadlines
